Elephantuses!

Some silly elephants drawn in pencil and then inked using a Pentel brush pen! These are a page in my sketchbook that I have inked over...

This is a great way of practising and getting used to the brush. It's really satisfying and almost meditative! I have coloured one of the elephants to see what it would look like... However, these aren't great drawings or inkings but just a bit of practice, I suppose!

Also, as I have been trying to learn Spanish in fits and starts for a while now, it was nice to find this brilliant podcast called Notes From Spain by an English guy called Ben and his Spanish wife, Marina. It's such a cool insight into life in another country. This month they are doing another podcast every day called Notes In Spanish to raise money for a sponsored motorbike trip across India... Anyway, more info can be found on their blog here:

http://www.notesfromspain.com/

So I recommend it heartily and I've added a link to it on the right... over there! Look.. over there! sigh!

Hasta luego!
